Weird week - Doodz

Okay, due to all sorts of weirdness at work me and a bunch of other people got 4 days off this week.  The weather was lovely and I spent time with a friend, figured out how to make really cool play tutus for kids with the help of youtube, had lunch with Sweetie, and in general had a lovely time.  It was kinda sad when I got the call last night asking if I would be able to report back to work this morning.

While I was off my friend A. got me hooked on the TED conference videos, and one afternoon was spent enjoying the sunlight in my office with the kitty watching all sorts of cool videos.   I totally want DVD sets of all the conferences now.

Also had a chance to get my Anime groove on this week and watched all 13 episodes of Disgaea - which was cool.  I just love anime like this and Space Pirate Mito that about 2/3 of the way in have a totally off the wall plot twist with a completely bizarre ending.  It was silly and goofy and totally kid friendly - even if I'm now saying Doodz all the time, just like the Prinnys.

Sweetie is off at a very small con that one of our friends puts on every spring.  Since participation is mandatory and the events include improv it's not really high on my list of things to do.  So while he's gone I'm spending a weekend at home with the wonder pups.
