Not even Eddie could save it

We watched Igor last night, and thankfully it was a netflix rental and not a purchase as it was AWFUL. The animation was pretty, and Eddie Izzard and John Cleese were fabulous as expected but the writing was bad, the story was stupid, several of the side characters were beyond annoying, and Jon Cusack was seriously miscast as Igor. There was an awful song about loving fat women and it ended with a group of blind orphans wandering around a community theatre stage - yes it ends with community theatre - singing the "I can see clearly now the rain is gone".
