Hooray for plumbing phase 2 completion

Our fabulous plumber came over this morning and knocked out the waste lines right quick.  There were a few that were in good shape that he left for now since was no point in replacing them.  He also gave us a quote to redo the bathroom tile and tub that is really reasonable.  We'd have to buy the supplies which is cool.  So I'm thinking that has moved up the list some.  Just need to figure out what we do for a bathroom while this is taking place as we only have the one.

Getting the yard redone has turned into a MAJOR HASSLE, the first round of contractors ranged from the cheap and creepy to the insanely expensive.  The one guy we kinda liked ended up adding a couple of thou to the written estimate, doubling the time estimate and almost trippling the time until they could come out and start work.  This left us with a not so fresh feeling and so we're attempting to start over, which would be easier if people would return calls and come out when scheduled!  It's looking like sprinklers and sod aren't happening before my birthday, heck they might not even happen this year.  Worse comes to worse and I'm going to vote replace the last 5 windows that haven't been done and maybe having someone come out and paint what little exterior needs paint.

Sweetie is busy busting down the scary old tin shed in the back yard.  He's wanting to get it done and cleaned up before it gets dark, we're worried that the dogs would try to eat it if left unattended :P

Today is my Friday off and since our plumber is coming out tomorrow to do the waste lines all of the weekend housework is taking place today.

Better get crackin' Sweetie is taking me out to dinner tonight and I want to have everything done and have some primping time before he gets home!
